Award-winning travel writer Bruce Northam is a motivational speaker and tourism adviser who has visited over 125 countries. The author of Globetrotter Dogma: 100 Canons for Escaping the Rat Race & Exploring the World, In Search of Adventure: A Wild Travel Anthology, and The Frugal Globetrotter, he contributes to National Geographic Traveler and the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.  Northam is the travel columnist for The Improper Hamptonian- a Long Island publication that reaches Manhattanites as well as 200,000 discerning readers from New York's Hamptons.
Northam is the recipient of numerous awards, including two bronze awards for two magazine articles in the 19th Annual Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition held by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation.
